Response to Special Warnings, Warnings, and Earthquake Warning Information

Temporary cancellation in the event of an alarm or special warning

If a typhoon storm warning has been issued for Aichi Prefecture (excluding Tahara City) as of 6 a.m., or if a heavy rain special warning, storm special warning, or storm special warning has been issued in Aichi Prefecture (including Tahara City), the morning class on the day will be temporarily canceled.

If the above warning or special warning is lifted by 10 a.m. on the day of the event, classes will be held in the afternoon in principle. However, if the principal deems it particularly necessary, based on the operation status of railways, etc., the restoration status of roads, rivers, etc., afternoon classes may also be canceled.

If the above warning or special alarm is issued during class, the class will be canceled immediately and recommended to go home.

In principle, classes other than the above will not be temporarily canceled, but if you are unable to attend classes normally due to storm and flood damage at home or in the area where you are commuting to school, please notify your academic advisor or the Educational Affairs Section of the Student Affairs Division. You will be treated as a special absence.

Earthquake Disaster Prevention Measures

Placing the safety of students first, when important information related to an earthquake is issued, we will consider the establishment of a disaster response headquarters at our school, and in the case of establishment, we will instruct measures such as evacuation of students.

Student Safety Measures

・Immediately discontinue classes, club activities, school events, etc.
All classes and school events scheduled for that day will be canceled or postponed.
・The cancellation or postponement of the above classes or school events will continue until it is confirmed to be safe.

Evacuation of students

(1) If the student is enrolled
Lead them to a safe place, evacuate them, roll call and check, and then send them home.
Students whose safety cannot be confirmed will be contacted and asked to pick them up.

(2) When the student is on his way to and from school
Gather transportation information and go home. (Follow the instructions while riding the public transportation.) )

(3) When the student is at home
Stay at home. (Classes will be temporarily canceled until safety is confirmed.) )

Extracurricular activities when an alarm or special alarm is issued on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, temporary holidays, and long holidays

If a typhoon storm warning has been issued in Aichi Prefecture (excluding Tahara City) as of 6 a.m., or if a heavy rain special warning, storm special warning, or storm special warning has been issued in Aichi Prefecture (including Tahara City), extracurricular activities support services on that day shall not be performed and extracurricular activities on that day will be canceled.

However, if the above warning or special warning is lifted by 10 a.m. on the day of the event, the canceled extracurricular activities may be carried out from the afternoon under the guidance of the advisory faculty members of each department and club.

If the above warning or special alert is issued during an extracurricular activity, please immediately cancel the extracurricular activity and return home promptly.
