  1. We held a review meeting for this year! (Multigenerational participatory exchange project “Toyota KOSEN Domi Town”)

Toyota KOSEN Dormitory Town is an activity by volunteer students, faculty and staff of Toyota KOSEN with the aim of creating a related population and revitalizing the community in the mountainous areas of Toyota City. We have been working since 2015 to develop a variety of activities with students, faculty and staff, elementary school students who have applied, and local residents. So far, more than 300 elementary school students have participated in the activities, and 12 of them have enrolled in our school.

On Tuesday, December 10, Reiwa 6, we held a review meeting at Toyota KOSEN to review the activities of Toyota KOSEN Domi Town this year! Volunteer local residents of Sasado Town, who are indebted to us for our activities on a daily basis, and people from Mulberry Club Chubu, who are collaborating with us, also participated.
In this year’s activities, while we were unable to harvest rice due to the weather, we were able to participate in the autumn festival in Sasado Town for the first time in several years. Looking back on this year, the students also expressed various impressions and opinions. I want to participate again next year! Many of the students talked about it, and there were many opinions about the next year’s plans.
