On Saturday, November 2,3 (Saturday and Sunday), the “KOSEN Design Competition 2024” was held at Anan KOSEN (Tokushima Prefecture).
In the Spatial Design Division, 112 teams from all over the country applied for the preliminary round, and 11 teams advanced to the main competition to be held on November 2 and 3 through the preliminary screening in August. Of the 11 teams from Toyota KOSEN that applied for the preliminary round, two teams advanced to the finals. In the final competition in November, we spent two days presenting our creations to the judges, participants, and intermediaries.
While the 11 teams participating in the finals demonstrated their abilities, the Toyota KOSEN team also fully demonstrated the results of their training so far, and both teams won the “Grand Prize” and the “Excellence Award”.
・Grand Prize (1st place): “Climbing Kiln to Survive the Brink” (4th grade Department of Architecture: Kotoha Izawa, Soma Kasahara, Natsumi Hirota, Chikano Miyamoto)
・Excellence Award (2nd place): “Living with Water” (4th grade Department of Architecture: Rua Ishida, Rinka Sano, Mizuho Shima)
