  1. Fourth-year students from the Department of Architecture went on a study trip to Oita and Fukuoka

From Wednesday, February 28 to Friday, March 1, 2024, a class of fourth-year students from the Department of Architecture conducted a study trip. On the first day, we visited the Oita Prefectural Museum of Art (designed by Shigeru Ban), where the curator showed us around the backyard, which we cannot see on a daily basis, and it was a valuable opportunity to see with our own eyes what we had learned in class.
On the second day, we visited Dazaifu, where we visited the Kyushu National Museum (designed by Kiyonori Kikutake) and then visited the temporary hall of the Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine (Sosuke Fujimoto), which was built only for three years during the renovation of the main shrine.
This was the first time that the entrance ceremony and ski training were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, and the students enjoyed the precious time to the fullest.
