In the 2023 Building Equipment Technician Day Commemorative Student Competition, a fourth-year student from the Department of Architecture won the Excellence Award.

At the 2023 Building Equipment Technician Day Commemorative Student Competition (sponsored by the Chubu Branch of the Association of Building Equipment Engineers), Mr. Shigeshi Nakayama and Mr. Takuma Sawada, fourth-year students of the Department of Architecture, submitted their work and won the Excellence Award. The award ceremony was held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at the Aichi Arts Center.
The theme was the use of “kuuki, mizu, and denki” to create the environment of the future. Focusing on the dormitories of technical colleges, the two reviewed the value of existing facilities such as swimming pools, wells, and cafeterias, and proposed the realization of an energy-saving and comfortable living environment by utilizing solar radiation.
