On Wednesday, November 15, Toyota National College of Technology signed an Academic Exchange Agreement (MOU) with the University of Burton and South Derbyshire in the United Kingdom. The University of Burton and South Derbyshire is a large university with 13,000 students in Burton, central England, with a thriving focus on practical education and international exchange.
On the day of the event, Ms. Dawn, manager of Burton and South Derbyshire University, and Mr. John, the president, visited the school, and after a greeting from Principal Yamada and a meeting with General Manager Shimizu and staff of the Eguchi International Exchange Center, a signing ceremony was held in the principal’s office and pledged further exchange and development of the two schools.
Burton and the University of South Derbyshire visited the university in April of this year, further strengthening their bond. In the future, we will consider specific proposals for student exchange and compatibility of the educational system.
