On Monday, November 12, Ms. Maria Kappenstein, Executive Director of the Freshman Program at the University of Aachen in Germany, which is a partner school of our school, visited the school. The long-term study abroad system using this program started in the 22nd academic year, but there are 1 student in 24, 1 student in 25, and 1 student in 29, and 2 students are studying abroad this year as well.

On the day of the event, Mr. Teppei Kuwata, an international student in Heisei 25 who is currently in the first year of the master’s program at Toyota Technological Institute, also participated, and we were able to meet again for the first time in a long time. After greetings and photographs in the principal’s office, Mr. Kuwata served as a guide for tours of the school building, sports facilities, manufacturing center, dormitory, etc., and they talked about their memories. After lunch and chatting in the cafeteria, they also attended an extensive English reading class, which was a meaningful exchange for maintaining this long-term study abroad system in the future.
