The completion ceremony of the Eishi dormitory was held on June 8.
The Eishi Dormitory is a mixed student dormitory that aims to improve communication skills in order to nurture practical and creative engineers. The ceremony was attended by Isao Taniguchi, President of the National Institute of Technology, Tomohiro Tsubota, Mitsuteru Inoue, Secretary-General Azusa Ouchi, Director of Facilities Yoshihiro Kimura, Chairman of the Toyota National College of Technology Education Supporters’ Association, Akira Kano, Chairman of the Toyota National College of Technology Education Supporters’ Association, Chiharu Mochizuki, Representative of the Dormitory Parents’ Association, six dormitory students, and other school officials. After a greeting from Principal Yamada, congratulatory speeches from President Taniguchi and President Kano of the Education Support Association, and a congratulatory telegram from Tetsuya Yagi, Member of the House of Representatives, Tomoaki Tanaka, Representative of the Dormitory Student Association, expressed his gratitude to the people involved.
After the meeting, a commemorative photo and preview were held at the Eishi dormitory, and after that, a meeting was held between the president and other students, and opinions were exchanged on requests and how to spend time in the dormitory.
