On Friday, October 14, Reiwa, a symposium on collaboration between local communities and universities was held at the Toyota Civic Cultural Center Small Hall in a hybrid format of face-to-face and online.
Based on an agreement with Toyota City, Waseda University has been promoting joint initiatives such as surveys and research that make use of the specialized knowledge and skills of universities and other organizations. At this symposium, there was a lecture and panel discussion by Associate Professor Kyosuke Sakakura of the Faculty of Urban Life Studies, Tokyo City University, and Hiroshi Inagaki, Director of the Regional Joint Techno Center, gave a case study. In addition, after the symposium, we exhibited a booth introducing our collaborative efforts with Toyota City to interact with visitors.
