At the FAB 3D CONTEST, Mr. Kota Muramatsu of the 4th year Department of Architecture and Mr. Seishi Nakayama (team name: Pochi) of the 3rd year Department of Architecture won the top prize.
The FAB 3D Contest is a contest that explores how digital machine tool technology (fab) using 3D printers and new plant-derived materials can change lifestyles and contribute to a recycling-oriented society.
The Grand Prize-winning “Gachagacha × Plant Cultivation” is a work that uses the capsule of the gachagacha as it is as a planter and finally returns to nature by burying it in the soil with the plant.
The award ceremony was held online, and Mr. Shigefumi Nakayama also received the FAB LIFE Award as an individual.
