The Infrastructure Management Technology Contest 2022 exchange meeting was held on February 24, Reiwa. 5.
This contest is a competition to understand the importance of infrastructure and the necessity of management and maintenance, and to compete for ideas to expand the circle of collaboration.
From Toyota National College of Technology, the Hayasaka Laboratory of the Department of Information Engineering, which studies computer technology, and the Ohata Laboratory of the Department of Environmental and Urban Engineering, where students learn technologies related to civil engineering and global environmental conservation, teamed up to form the Ohata and Hayasaka Lab Team.
Tomohima Murakami, a second-year student in the Department of Information Science, and Yuya Yasuda, a second-year student in the Department of Construction Engineering, created the title of their work “Development of a bridge inspection support system using drone images!”, and as a result, received the “Waku Waku Award” and the “Corporate Award (Kumagai Gumi Co., Ltd. Award, Japan Kanzai Co., Ltd. Award, Furukawa Electric Industry Co., Ltd. Award, and Japan Engineer Association Award)”.
