HACK U KOSEN 2024, sponsored by LINE Yahoo Japan Corporation and supported by the National Institute of Technology(KOSEN), will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the Kioicho office of LINE Yahoo Japan Corporation. “Yasosimagumi” from Department of Information and Computer Engineering, Toyota KOSEN(OKADA Itsuki, KAWAHARA Ryosuke, KITAMURA Kotaro, SAKAI Yusei, TAKAGI Toru, NOZAKI Shuntaro, Department of Information and Computer Engineering 5th grade) won the Grand Prize and the Happy Hacking Award.
This year, a hackathon was held under the theme of “Hack New Year’s Day!”, and the team “Yasoshimagumi” from Toyota KOSEN developed the web application “NFT with God”. “NFT with God” is a web application that allows you to make your first pilgrimage at home by using location information, and also allows you to issue a fortune tailored to you as an NFT by interacting with the god of the shrine. NFTs are “non-fungible tokens” using blockchain technology. In this work, the ability to issue “fortune tellers” as NFTs to provide users with a fortune with unique value was highly evaluated.
