We held a debriefing session of the KOSEN Design Competition.

  1. We held a debriefing session of the KOSEN Design Competition.

Two teams of fourth-grade students from the Department of Architecture, who won the Grand Prize and the Excellence Award at this year’s KOSEN Design Competition 2024, performed a re-performance of their presentations made in the finals. The presentation boards and models exhibited in the final round were also exhibited, and we were able to see what it was like in the final round.

Grades 1 to 5 gathered together to ask questions and give advice across grades.
It was a debriefing session where it was clear that the process of “creating” with passion, thinking for themselves, moving their hands and feet, and working hard by the team members made them grow greatly. I’m sure my juniors felt that too.

・Grand Prize (1st place): “Climbing Kiln to Survive the Brink” (4th grade Department of Architecture: Kotoha Izawa, Soma Kasahara, Natsumi Hirota, Chikano Miyamoto)

・Excellence Award (2nd place): “Living with Water” (4th grade Department of Architecture: Rua Ishida, Rinka Sano, Mizuho Shima)
