“Hirameki ☆ Tokimeki Science” was held.

On Friday, August 23, 2024 (Reiwa 6), Hirameki ☆ Tokimeki Science ~ Welcome to the University Laboratory ~ KAKENHI “What is high-voltage direct current (HVDC) power transmission? Let’s deepen our understanding of direct current and high voltage!” was held.
Under the management of two faculty members and six students from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineering at TOYOTA KOSEN, 12 junior high school students participated. After the lecture on “How to send electrical energy?”, we tried to create a plastic sheet with a 3D printer. In the second half of the experiment, we used a spatial charge measurement device to measure electricity in a 3D printed sample and a plastic film sheet.
At the end of the program, a graduation ceremony was held, and all 12 junior high school students were awarded the “Future Doctorate”. We look forward to seeing you again in the future.
