On Thursday, April 18, Reiwa 6, first-year students of the Department of Environmental and Urban Engineering participated in the Toyota City evacuation center management training for Toyota City employees. This will be the second year in a row that we will participate in this event. The participants participated in a variety of drills, including training on setting up a toilet tank for disasters, operating a generator, supporting people in need of special care, and experiencing emergency water supply. It was a very valuable opportunity for the students to learn practical about how to respond in the event of a disaster.
