At the 61st Toyota Citizen Art Exhibition, Mr. Saraki Ishiguro, a first-year student majoring in construction engineering, won the Special Jury Prize.
This art exhibition has been held since Showa 38 with the aim of encouraging a wide range of creative activities by citizens and further deepening their activities. Mr. Ishiguro brushed up on an architectural model that he had created in a class while he was in school, setting the site as Ashisuke, and exhibited it. The title of the work is “Itonamu: Roadside Station ~ASUKE~”. The tile roof and walls are meticulously expressed by weaving them with wood.
As a result, we won a prize in the “Design” category from a total of 383 entries.
