English Presentation Contest
Following the recent Tokai-Hokuriku National College of Technology English Presentation Contest in which Mr. Noritoshi Okada (a fourth-year student in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineering) won the right to participate in the national competition in the single division, the team division also passed the video judging and qualified for the national competition. Participating are Mr. Uki Shirota, Mr. Masaomi Takasaka, and Mr. Masatsugu Fujii (all three fifth-year students in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineering).
The title of the presentation is “Humanication”, a word coined by combining “Humanication” and “Communication”, and the unique content is that “color” is used to express how Humanication is realized. At the national competition, I expect that the three of them will literally present colorful presentations with their excellent English skills and breathtaking matches.
The national competition will be held at the Tokyo Olympic Center on Saturday, January 27 for the singles category and for the team division on Sunday, January 28. It is rare to compete from either the singles or team divisions from the same school. At the national conference, there will be elements that are not found in the regional conference, such as a question and answer session. The tournament is just around the corner, but I’d like to keep practicing so that I can show my strength in the actual tournament. Thank you for your support!
