A welcome party for new international students who transferred to the third year was held on Thursday, April 26, 30.
This year, a total of three male students joined the program: one from the Department of Mechanical Engineering (Malaysia) and two from the Department of Architecture (Mongolia).
This welcome party is held every year at this time to deepen exchanges between international students, including newly admitted students, faculty and staff, and Japan students.
This year’s event began with a welcome speech by Principal Tagawa and a toast by Professor Tsukamoto (Vice Principal for Academic Affairs), followed by self-introductions by new international students and tutors, and welcome remarks from the student council president and the dormitory principal.
At the end, the senior international students gave an update on their situation and gave advice to the new international students.
The atmosphere was friendly from start to finish, taking commemorative photos with the participating students, and the new international students, who were still nervous, smiled, and it was a fulfilling exchange party and welcome party.
