In October 2020, our school’s “KIKS” team applied for the “Aichi Prefecture Robot International Convention Competition Team Strengthening Support Project” to support the activities of teams in Aichi Prefecture who aim to achieve excellent results in two international robot competitions, the “RoboCup Asia-Pacific Tournament” and the “World Robot Summit” held at the Aichi International Exhibition Center. After a rigorous examination (documents and interviews) by the selection committee, I was selected as a member of the support team. Our school’s “KIKS” team has been selected to participate in the Small Robot Soccer League at the RoboCup 2019 Sydney World Tournament to be held in July, and is expected to play an active role. They have participated in the world championship continuously since their first appearance in 2004, and have a track record of third place in 2012. The robot’s hardware and software are all improved and manufactured by students every year. Thank you for your support.
