At the “30th Japan City Planning Institute Chubu Branch Research Presentation” held at Shizuoka University of Art and Culture on October 18, 2019, a research team led by Chie Shimizu, a first-year student in the Department of Construction Engineering at our school, received the Japan City Planning Institute Chubu Branch Excellent Speaker Award.
Dr. Shimizu and his colleagues presented the results of their research on the conversion of vacant space into public spaces in public facilities in Miyoshi City, Aichi Prefecture, and received this award because it was evaluated as an excellent research presentation.
The award ceremony was held on February 7, 2020, and a certificate of recognition was presented by the chapter president.
