  1. Won “3rd place” in the student robot app contest “AWS Robot Delivery Challenge”!

Tomoki Harima, a first-year student in the Department of Electronic and Mechanical Engineering (Department M), won third place in the AWS (Amazon Web Services) Robot Delivery Challenge.
The top 12 teams from 118 teams from high schools, technical colleges, universities, graduate schools, and vocational schools nationwide participated in the main round of the AWS Robot Delivery Challenge, the first robot app contest for students to be held in the Japan.
In this contest, the prescribed robots prepared by AWS are moved online using an application, run on a course set up in a miniature city, and compete to see how quickly the prescribed products can be delivered to the houses scattered throughout the course.

The standings will be determined by the simulation qualifiers, the main round, and the final round between the top teams in the main round.
Tomoki Harima applied during the school closure period due to the Corona disaster to study ROS for special research.
While there were many teams with four members, we won third place as an individual.
