Won a prize in our school’s archery club at the 9th National College of Technology Kyudo Tournament

At the 9th National College of Technology Kyudo Tournament held at the Hyogo Prefectural Archery Dojo in Akashi City, Hyogo Prefecture from September 1 to 2, Reiwa 4, our school’s archery club won third place and the Excellence Award in the men’s team division, Koya Mioka of the Department of Information Engineering, a fourth-year student from the Department of Information Engineering, won the men’s individual division, and Koon Fujioka, a first-year student from the Department of Architecture, won second place in the women’s individual division.
The men’s team finished third in the final tournament, but as a team, they received the great honor of receiving the Shooting Excellence Award. Mr. Mioka, who won the men’s individual championship, led the activities during the corona disaster as captain since last summer, and this summer he has always achieved stable and wonderful results. Ms. Fujioka in the women’s individual team was unfortunately the runner-up as a result of the championship match between the three women, but she was looking forward to her future activities.
