At the 22nd Annual Meeting of the Japan Accelerator Society held on August 8, 2025 at Tokyo City University’s Setagaya Campus,
Two students of the mechanical club of our school made a presentation.
With the support of the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK), a world-class research institute, the Mechanical Club has been developing small particle accelerators since March 2023.
Accelerators are cutting-edge and basic technologies in various fields such as basic science, medicine, and industry, and require knowledge and skills in a wide range of fields, including physics and engineering.
By designing and manufacturing accelerators by hand, we acquire the basics of manufacturing and science.
We have received a request from the Japan Accelerator Society for a special lecture on this activity.
Along with Oyama KOSEN, Nagano KOSEN, Gunma KOSEN, Okinawa KOSEN, which are working together, ASHIZUKA Yusei, a 5th year student in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Toyota KOSEN, and YASHIKI Riku, a 4th year student,
We gave a special lecture (open lecture) titled “Accelerator after school!? We also made a poster presentation.
