Two teams from Toyota KOSEN participated in the 2025 Tokai Hokuriku Regional Competition of the KOSEN Robot Contest held in Toyama City on Sunday, October 5, 2025.
The title of the competition is “Great High Gate”, and robots stack cardboard boxes of different sizes in an arch shape to create a gate, which is connected to a self-made cart that students ride through the gate together. The higher the gate, the higher the score, so the students have been creative in creating a robot that can stack cardboard boxes higher.
Our school A team won the first game of the preliminary round, but unfortunately we were eliminated in the second game. Team B did not win in the preliminary round, but their ideas were evaluated and they won a special award (Honda Motor Co., Ltd.).
The tournament is scheduled to be broadcast on NHK General Television from 10:40 a.m. on Saturday, November 8 in the seven central prefectures. It is also available on Robocon’s official YouTube.
