On Sunday, March 8, 2026, at the Inabu Branch Office of Toyota City Hall, the “Inabu Regional Issues Solution Presentation Meeting” was held with about 50 participants, including 10 students from our school, students from Inabu Junior High School, and local residents. We reported on the results of one year of community development activities carried out in the Inabu area.
The community development activities in the Inabu area, which began in FY 2025, started after a call from the specified nonprofit organization Inabu Community Development Council to Toyota KOSEN, and a total of 115 of our students participated. Our students and Inabu-area junior high school students presented the ideas and features behind the “Inabu Complete Map” they created together to Toyota Mayor OTA Toshihiko and local residents.
The “Inabu Complete Map” was created as a map that lets people enjoy Inabu anytime, focusing on the four seasons (spring, summer, autumn, winter), various events, and cycling. We also received support from the Toyota KOSEN General Creative Club for creating the map’s illustrations and more.
Junior high school students, who are young people familiar with the area, and KOSEN students, who are young visitors to the town, worked together to create a tool to share the area’s appeal. The Inabu Complete Map is expected to contribute to increasing the area’s related population. If you visit the Inabu area and come across the “Inabu Complete Map,” please pick one up and take a look!
