On Sunday, December 14, 2025, 11 students from the Department of Civil Engineering of our school, 2 students from Inabu Junior High School, and a total of about 20 local residents, worked on community development activities at the “Donguri Theme Hall (commonly known as Inabu Lab)”, which is the activity base of the Inabu Town Development Council adjacent to the roadside station “Donguri no Sato Inabu”.
We are working on the creation of a regional map as a result of this year’s activities, and we worked on the summary work of the manuscript preparation.
KOSEN students and junior high school students consulted to create a map that focuses on the four seasons (spring, summer, autumn, and winter), various events, and cycling, and aims to distribute it as a map that allows people to enjoy Inabu at any time. Junior high school students, who are young people who know the area, and KOSEN students, who are young people who are visitors to the city, are working together to create a tool that can convey the charm of the region.
In the future, with the cooperation of the General Creation Department, which is one of the club activities of Toyota KOSEN, we will complete the regional map. On Sunday, March 8, 2026, we are also planning to unveil the completed map.
