YAMADA Takumi, a second-year student Electronic and Mechanical Engineering Course at our school, was selected for the “Overseas Travel Expense Assistance” by the Chubu Foundation for the Promotion of Basic Research in Electricity Utilization.
This subsidy system is intended to support the travel expenses of students conducting basic research on electricity utilization when presenting their research results at international conferences, etc., and is aimed at training future researchers.
Mr. YAMADA participated in the Micro and Nano Engineering Conference 2025 (MNE2025), an international conference held in Southampton, UK, from September 15 to 18, 2025, and presented her research results.
On the day of the event, we had a lively exchange of opinions with researchers from Japan and abroad through poster presentations, and we were able to gain valuable experience.
Our university actively supports students’ independent research activities and international challenges, and this selection is an example of the results. We expect him to be more active in the future.
