Toyota KOSEN held a faculty training on student support for Reiwa 7 on Thursday, September 18th. This training was conducted for faculty and staff by Ms. OSAKI Mizuho, a school social worker of our school, as a lecturer. It was a good opportunity to learn about the role of school social workers, their job description, and in what situations they can be used. We had lectures in the first half and group work in the second half, and we found that using school social workers well can provide clues to solving complex problems. As our school’s student support office, we would like to create an environment where not only students but also faculty and staff can feel free to consult.
