In order to cultivate practical and creative engineers with an international perspective, the Koshi Dormitory, a mixed-living student dormitory with the aim of improving communication skills, was completed and a completion ceremony was held on September 16.
As guests, Ms. TANNO Midori, a member of the House of Representatives (deputy: secretary), Toyota Mayor OTA Toshihiko, Mr. YAGI Tetsuya of the Liberal Democratic Party, Mr. MIYOSHI Takeshi of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Mr. HASHIMOTO Takayuki, President of the Education Support Association, Ms. IKEZU, the caretaker representative of the dormitory student parents subcommittee, and the president of the alumni association, as well as Secretary General NAGATA and staff of the Facilities Department from KOSEN Organization Headquarters participated.
First, there was a greeting from President AWAGA, and then we received a congratulatory speech from the guests. After receiving a speech of thanks from Secretary General NAGATA, dormitory director NAKAMURA Emi gave a speech on behalf of the dormitory association. After that, we cut the tape and took a commemorative photo in front of the entrance of the Koshi dormitory, and held a preview.
The Koshi dormitory will start operating in conjunction with the opening date of September 23.
