  1. Student Ambassador (SA) Activity Report~Interaction with KOSEN KMUTT Students~

The Student Ambassadors (SA) organized various on-campus events to interact with the 21 students who participated in the one-month training program from KOSEN KMUTT.

〇June 13 (Fri) Welcome Party (Leader: Ms. SATO Rin, 4th year, Department of Computer Engineering)
The party was hosted by three first-year students. We had many meetings to decide on the progress and decorations, and we prepared for the actual performance. On the day of the event, we enjoyed traditional Japan games such as spinning frames and lucky laughter. Among them, chanbara is exciting, aiming to become a ninja or samurai (?). I was impressed by the Thai students.

〇July 7 (Mon) Farewell Party (Leader: Ms. KAWANISHI Kaon, 3rd year, Department of Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineering)
The theme of the party is, of course, Tanabata! I tied a strip of paper with my wish written on it on a bamboo leaf. The Thai students stayed with a family in Japan on the weekend, and their host families came to visit us and we enjoyed the reunion. At the end, everyone gathered in a circle and had a blast with dancing heroes in the style of Bon Odori.

In addition, we made preparations and arrangements so that they could participate in club activities during their stay (Leaders: Ms. GOTO Yuna and Ms. HAYASHIDA Miki, 4th year Department of Architecture). Japan’s unique disciplines such as archery, judo, and tea ceremony were very popular, but they actively participated in sports divisions such as baseball, soccer, and basketball, as well as cultural divisions such as go, shogi, general creation, and photography.

Over the past few years, TOYOTA KOSEN has deepened its exchanges with KOSEN KMUTT. International exchange is an activity that can be done not only overseas, but also in Japan. Sometimes we don’t understand each other well, but sometimes we get along well by doing something together. I hope that they will deepen their international understanding while gaining experience in such a familiar place.
