The 5th Infrateccon 2024 exchange meeting was held on March 5, Reiwa 7. Four students received the Platinum Award: MARUTA Tomohito, third grade student in the Department of Civil Engineering, SAKAGUCHI Wakana and SATO Mao, fourth grade student, and SUDA Ryohei, second grade student in the Civil Engineering and Architecture Course.
The theme of the presentation was “Sitting Infrastructure: Manhole Chairs,” and the proposal to upcycle unused manhole covers with unique ideas through collaboration between industry, government, and academia was highly evaluated and awarded.
